Trailer Love 2/15
I haven’t thrown out some New Trailers in a while so here we go….
First up is the R-rated trailer for “Knocked Up”…It stars alot of the cast of the “40 year old Virgin”.
I didn’t know what direction they were going to go with the Nancy Drew character, but after seeing the trailer it looks very cute.
The “Shaun of The Dead” Boys have a new movie “Hot Fuzz”

This movie looks “Shaun of the Dead” good. Unfortunately no set release date for the U.S. as of yet.

Alpha Dog
I just got back from seeing Alpha Dog and for a January release it’s pretty good. Nick Cassavettes directs and he did “The Notebook” so was expecting at least an ok time.
Ben Foster literally owned every scene he was in and Justin Timberlake surprised me by being good. He had a few over acting moments but in the end he made up for it.
Supposedly the film is based on a true story, but it felt like an overblown Larry Clark “Kids” tribute at times. Hell, Larry Clark even covered the whole “bored white kids overly influenced by urban music” movie already with “Bully” and it was good.
Overall it’s nice to look at and has a few good moments. Most of them containing Anton Yelchin.

Friday ya’ll
I’ve worked every day since last Thursday and it finally caught up with me so I’ve been slacking on the blogification. Here’s one big post of all the crap I meant to post.
Halloween was delightful. Started out attempting to go to the parade but they had already decided no more people. Headed to Cafeteria instead and had Many Mojito’s (I had to do the math the next day when I checked my bank account…I’m an awesome tipper sober a phenomenal tipper drunk). I swung by the situation at the Merc Bar but all I found was a African doorman and some dudes in Orange Jumpsuits. Got a call that the Girls Gone Wild Crew (or Jessica’s friends dressed up like them with real screenprinted logo’d t’s and camera equiptment) and drunkst girls were flashing with abandon and doing strange things and signing releases. So I headed up there and was immediately sorry because I had the misfortune of seeing the breasts of one of the largest Catwomans I’ve ever seen wedged into a patent leather bodysuit.
Joanie Laurer (formerly known as Chyna) showed us what was in the cookie store when she was denied entry to Hyde…
Seal shows us what love looks like in the form of a halloween costume. He was Eve to Heidi Klum’s very pregnant apple.
I hope he doesn’t have a real sister.

Perfume I just bought the book and then this pops up. Yay! The director of Run Lola Run is behind it and it stars Dustin Hoffman. Double Yay!

The Darlings of the British Jordan and Peter Andre turn in a demo for a Duets album project they were proposing. It’s a cover of a “Whole New World” and it definitely has a whole new sound.
And after the bad should come some good. Daniel Merriweather is from Australia and he sings nice. I thought he was brand new but then I heard him on a soundtrack from a movie from last year so he’s just new to me.
