Oscars Recap: Speed Round
I know I swore up and down to post a recap on Tuesday, but I had a really busy week so here you go….
Good Job:
The Coppola, Spielberg, Lucas triad - showing us all what rich, accomplished and relaxed (better known as “Too rich, ta care”) looks like.
Andre Leon Talley on the Red Carpet for ABC - He overpronounced Cate Blanchett’s last name so hardcore, she even stared at him.
The amount of foreign winners - They made some of my favorite films and music…Pan’s Labyrinth, Babel and my boy Gustavo Santolalla all walked away with awards. Not to mention Helen Mirren just killing it.
Bad Job:
Andre Leon Talley the stylist - For dressing Jennifer Hudson in that gold python Batgirl bolero jacket situation on the red carpet…Boo A.L.T. Boo.
Nicole Kidman - For looking positively ridiculous or as it was so eloquently put “Like a big cat with a red bow around her neck”.
Tom Cruise - For showing up to unleash the madness without any warning beforehand. He’s not the guy you can just “surprise guest” me with.
As for the best dressed woman not even being at the ceremony…

It was Victoria Beckham. She killed it plain and simple. Sleek angular hair that was actually an accessory to her dress and for once merely looking exceptionally thin instead of dangerously undernourished like she usually does.

I thought Posh was looking good too: maybe gaining a bit of weight( thank christ) but is she just trying to trick us by just making her titties gain some “heft” to distract us from the rest of her body?
