A Space Fo’ Niggas?

I read about a little bit of madness called NiggaSpace on Fishbowl a few days ago. I was at work and didn’t want to get lost in the chasm of ridiculous it was sure to be so I didn’t look at it then.
Cut to last night and while reading the NY Post I came across another article. It was time to jump into the pool of sheer chicanery full speed.
Synopsis: Take MySpace remove anything slightly entertaining about it add even more horrendous spelling and grammar (which offended me way more than the Url ever could) and you my friend have NiggaSpace.
With women who list Turn Offs like “skinny white gurls, men who be disrespecting” and Groups like “I LOVE CHICKEN” this shit is sure to be blockbuster. I can hear the NAACP packing a lunch and getting Bill Cosby and Jesse Jackson out of bed.
That just may be me, because so far 1800+ people found it more than entertaining for a moment and bothered to sign up. Most that I’ve read are to just mock the idea of the site but still Bad Show on the whole thing.
Discuss!

Is this is the best use of technology to advance african-americans? I think that kid is naive and downright idiotic. Check http://rapspace.tv later for some blog commentary on this dumb sh*t.
Peace.

Using the word “nigger/nigga” is an addiction much like any other vice or addiction, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes…my vice has always been Pepsi. When I tried giving it up I soon realized it wasn’t necessarily Pepsi my body craved - it was the caffeine. See I stopped drinking Pepsi and started drinking coffee. The poison was still in my system, it just manifested itself in a different form. The word “nigger/nigga” is just like that cup of coffee vs. the Pepsi. white people saying it vs. Black people “taking it on” or “taking it back”…it is still the same poison seeping into your system - manifesting itself in a different form.
I went to the site…my throat is constricted from carrying the albatross of my peoples ignorance around my neck. As a black mother, daughter, sister - here is my answer to anyone who has the crust to ask me why I don’t like the word…
Yo nigga!
Come here nigger!
You my nigga!
We don’t serve niggers!
Where my niggas!
Get those niggers!
Yo but that’s my nigga!
Hang that nigger!
Nigger? Please!
You see I’ve talked to you until my tongue was black and blue
Swollen vacant vocalizations
Trying to increase your visualization
Pull you through the tunnel vision your mind is in
and out into the real world, where we’re fighting real wars
trying to heal real scars
still reaching for real stars
You see I am as Dubois depicts
one of the 10%
and I will carry the remaining 90 in my arms
shielding you with my lifewords from harm
it is in my emotional element to make ancestral love to your heart
while impregnating your thoughts
treadmilling new outlooks for man
as I burrow my hands
into mother earth
delivering bundles of dignity and worth
EXPELLING THE WORD NIGGER LIKE AFTERBIRTH
I have swallowed enough of this minstrel tangible word
serial verb
and it leaves a bad taste in my womb
birthplace of the black race
but you want to keep your mind encased
thinking you should just embrace this tireless incubus we released from its tomb
poisonous adjective
embraced like long lost kin
killin’
humorously and in beats
and it scares me worse than phantom men in white sheets
Yo nigga!
Come here nigger!
You my nigga!
We don’t serve niggers!
Where my niggas!
Get those niggers!
Yo but that’s my nigga!
Hang that nigger!
Nigger? Please!
it flows with ease
an easy way for us to stay
in the place for us they’ve made
and it leaves a bad taste in my womb
birthplace of the black race
But take a good look at your black face
and it won’t take long to figure
YOUR MAMA DIDN’T BIRTH NO NIGGERS!
So please
Change your Vernacular

First of all i really dont care what other people have to think about this site b/c if u dont use it then u really dont have any room to talk about it. To me some people really need to just be quiet for once and really just let other people do their own thing.
